With over 10 years of experience photographing babies and families, I specialise in creating a gentle, stress-free experience where you can simply relax and enjoy the moment while I capture it for you.
Based in Folkestone, I provide calm, cosy and baby-led studio sessions designed to safely capture your baby's first precious days and create memories your family will treasure forever.
The whole process of booking the shoot was simple and Justine was so friendly. On the day, she made us feel so relaxed and we really enjoyed the experience, she was so good with our little one and had such a caring nature and creative eye! We have now received our photos and they are so beautiful- we will definitely contact Justine again for future photos!

We have had two sittings, Nov 2024 and Nov 2025. Justine made myself and the children feel welcome, comfortable and at ease. She remained happy, calm and patient whilst trying to manage three excited children who at times were a challenge! The result, beautiful, professional photographs.

I was able to feed the babies whenever they needed it
Justine did a newborn shoot of my twins and a few family photos too at her new studio in Hawkinge. It was really relaxed and I was able to feed the babies whenever they needed it. She was also wonderful with my toddler and got him to feel really excited about the shoot. It was great experience and the photos are excellent.

After so many years photographing babies and families, I still genuinely love that this is what I get to call my job.

We cannot recommend White Shadows Photography enough Justine put us (and our baby) completely at ease from the booking process to the photos and selecting and purchasing our favourite images. She was so calm, gentle and patient with our daughter, and it was amazing to see how settled she was with her, our baby actually slept for nearly the whole session. The whole experience was just lovely. There was no rushing and Justine was there to make it a lovely and special experience for all of us. The photos are incredibly beautiful. Justine is amazing at what she does, her attention to detail, patience and photography skills are just *chefs kiss* We had our first newborn session with Justine a few weeks ago in her cosy studio and it was a really lovely experience, our baby girl was a bit challenging; waking up throughout the session but Justine was so gentle and caring she still managed to get really stunning shots of our baby and family pictures.
