Whether you’re still counting down the weeks until your little one arrives or your baby is already here, I’m so happy you’ve found me. The newborn days pass in the blink of an eye. Tiny fingers wrapped around yours. Sleepy stretches. Soft eyelashes. The little noises you’ll one day miss.
As a mum of two, I know just how quickly those first weeks become treasured memories. That's why I'm here to preserve your baby exactly as they are, so years from now you can remember not only how your baby looked… but how they felt in your arms.
Every newborn session takes place in my peaceful Hawkinge studio, designed to be calm, warm and completely baby-led.
My Style

Over the years my photography has evolved into the style I love most.
The majority of my newborn sessions now are photographed using soft white fabrics, neutral tones and minimal styling. The focus isn’t on elaborate props, it’s on your baby.
I gently capture all those tiny details that change so quickly:
- Tiny fingers and toes
- Soft eyelashes
- Little lips
- Delicate flaky skin
- Baby rolls
- The connection between you and your newest family member
The result is a timeless gallery that will never go out of fashion.
Your session, your way
Although my signature style is clean and minimal, every session is personalised.
If you’ve fallen in love with my all-white images, we’ll create exactly that. If you would like a few carefully chosen props, wraps, bowls or simple posed portraits, that’s absolutely possible too.
As a fully trained newborn photographer, I am qualified to safely pose babies throughout their session, always following your baby’s lead and never forcing a pose.
Many families choose mostly natural images but some like just a handful of gently posed/swaddled photographs, giving them the best of both worlds. We can chat about your preferences together beforehand.
A relaxed, baby-led experience
Every baby is different, so every session is too. There is plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, nappy changes and comforting whenever your baby needs it.
Nothing is rushed. My priority is always creating a relaxed experience where both parents and baby feel comfortable.
Parents and siblings are always welcome to be included, creating beautiful family portraits you’ll treasure just as much as the photographs of your baby alone.
My session workflow typically includes discussing your preferences, scheduling a convenient time, the actual photo session, and then selecting and editing the best images. I am more than happy to answer any questions but you might also find your questions answered below.
When do I book?
I usually recommend booking after your 20 weeks scan once you know everything is progressing well. Your due date will be pencilled in and once baby has arrived, you need to let me know so that we can find a suitable date/time for you to come to my studio in Hawkinge, Folkestone.
How old should my baby be?
We like for babies to be anywhere between 4-21 days for better results. Past this time, your baby will already start to be a little more awake and it becomes more difficult to pose them. That being said, you can book them in for a newborn photoshoot anytime up to 8 weeks and if they are a little older, you might get some cute first smiles!
How long does the session take?
If you decide to go for the silver or gold package, your session can last up to 3 hours. This is so that we can take our time, working at baby's own pace.
Do i need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £50 deposit is required to secure your due date in my diary. This will be deducted from your final balance.
Can I book on a weekend?
I don't usually book newborn sessions on weekends as they can take up to 3 hours and it doesn't quite work for my own family. However, if you needed. weekend because Dad is back at work or siblings are at school I can offer to split the session. You come with baby only during the week and then can come back for 30 minutes with siblings and Dad to get those lovely family photos.
I have booked, what happens next?
Once baby's arrived and we agreed on a date, you will receive a prep guide with everything you need to know about the session. From what to bring to what to wear, I have you covered. You will also receive an online questionnaire to help me target your preferences in terms of props and colours. This will need to be returned at least 24 hours prior to our session together so I can have everything ready on the day!
Do you provide make up or outfits?
I have some newborn outfits in the studio although I tend to keep babies undressed throughout the session to avoid disturbing them too much. As for make-up, this is not a service I provide at the moment.
When is the payment due?
Your balance is due on the day of your session. You will be able to upgrade after you have seen your gallery.
What happens next?
You will be able to see your photos within 10 days. You will receive a link via email to your private online gallery. You will then be able to select your images and upgrade should you want to. Your gallery will be live for a whole month so there's no rush. Past this, there will be a fee of £10 per week to re open your gallery. Once you are selected your images, let me know which ones you would like to get printed!
What happens if my baby doesn't perform well on the day?
This is definitely the most asked question. Just don't worry! I have worked with hundreds of babies if not more and there is always a way to work around it. In my 7 years of experience, never have I ever not delivered a gallery to the highest standard.
Can I bring siblings?
Of course you can! However please note that the studio cannot accommodate for more than 5 people. If you bring an older sibling, make sure to bring plenty of entertainment and snacks for them and I will deal with the rest!

Please note that a £45 deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance is due on the day of your photoshoot.
Extra files can be purchased at £15 each or you can upgrade to the whole gallery at a discounted price.
Please note that for each selected file, you will receive both colour and black and white versions. You will also receive some WEB files which have been resized and sharpened l for social media purposes.
