Rafe was originally booked for a cake smash but his mummy changed her mind a week before the session and asked if we could transfer over to a Milestone Session ☺️
Of course that’s absolutely fine if you’re in two minds about it! Or if, alternatively, you want to bring a cake last minute!

Now let’s be honest and upfront, some babies actually hate it!! If that’s the case, we just put it away and capture that milestone differently but Jude totally understood the assignment and LOVED every bit of that cake 🤭

I photographed Roman’s big brother as a newborn a couple of years ago when he was around 2 weeks old 🤍
I always recommend having your newborn session in the first 5-21 days mainly because your baby will change ever so quickly in the first couple of weeks but really there’s no right or wrong, come when you’re ready 🤍

Cake smash are usually kept very simple with a couple of couple of colours but if you have a theme in mind, we can always try to add some subtle touches. I like to keep everything simple to avoid distractions and , this way, your baby won’t look lost in the middle of it all!
You bring the cake, I take care of the rest, it’s as simple as that ☺️
