3 reasons to book an outdoor photoshoot - Dover Photographer
As I'm writing this post, cold days have arrived and winter is slowly creeping in but that's no excuse not to go out! Especially when here, in Kent, we are lucky to have such beautiful countryside with a view! It's worth mentioning that outdoor sessions work great to break the ice too. I always find that I can have such lovely chats with my clients on outdoor locations, it just flows naturally as everyone feels more relaxed.
Anyway, here are 3 reasons to book an outdoor photoshoot in Kent.
Natural light
In Summer, you'll often hear about the beautiful golden hour and how photographers will struggle to get a good shot unless it's early morning or late evening but in Autumn/Winter months, anytime is great! The sun is never too bright that we can't work with it and it goes back down so quickly which means if you still wanted the beautiful golden hour look, you could have it at 4pm as opposed to 8.30pm! The moody skies however will make your photos just as beautiful and fit in perfectly the Autumn/Winter vibe!
The Variety of Mother Nature
There are so many breathtaking locations just around the corner from Folkestone and they all make a perfect backdrop for your family photos. Whether you want to take the lead on the location or let me suggest some places is up to you, we will discuss this prior to our session together so if there's somewhere local with a special place in your heart, we can meet there! Having an outdoor photoshoot will also allow for a huge variety of images whether it's woodland, country or seaside, the scenery is constantly changing as we walk along. Nature offers so many colours and textures which will bring a whole new dimension to your photographs!
Freedom
Last but not least, that feeling of freedom as you walk/run in the wild is unbeatable. As adults, we understand the importance of going out on long walks, it's great for both physical and mental health. Your children, however, can appreciate this but they will love being let free and run around. Think about those little hands picking flowers and all sort of treasures. No need to pose and say cheese, let them explore, chase them and trickle them and we'll get the bestest smile out everyone!
I hope you feel confident that you can book an outdoor family photoshoot no matter the weather, if that's the case then get in touch and we can start planning together!
